Provided via Zoom, this two-day training provides a thorough overview of how to use AEPS-3 to improve child, family, and program outcomes. Attendees will learn:

• the fundamentals of AEPS-3, including the system’s organization and the 8 developmental areas
• best practices for test administration
• scoring of the assessment, including qualified scoring options new to the third edition
• how to use AEPS-3 for eligibility determination
• development of IFSP and IEP goals using AEPS-3 data
• linking AEPS-3 data with teaching and intervention using the new multi-tiered, activity-based curriculum
• benefits of the new Ready-Set measure for measuring school readiness
• working with families throughout the assessment and intervention process

Each participant will receive a packet of training materials and a certificate of attendance upon successful completion of the seminar.

• Use assessment activities to shorten assessment time
• Incorporate the AEPS-3 Curriculum into intervention planning
• Summarize AEPS-3 test informaation for programming purposes and for sharing with families/caregivers
• Use Child and Class Reports to track child progress and inform intervention
• Prepare OSEP data efficiently using AEPSi
